Pro+ Bio Resurfacing Retinol ALT

I have mild rosacea and currently have a little bit of lingering perioral dermatitis. This hasn’t aggravated it at all - it keeps my skin nice and calm. I haven’t noticed any impact on fine lines but wouldn’t expect that for a while. For now, my skin is calm and glowy so I’m about to reorder!

I ordered the Alt along with the cleanser and ds soothing serum for my perioral dermatitis. I didn’t plan on using the Alt on my dermatitis but after a couple of weeks I did a bit of research on the ingredients and went for it lightly covering the dermatitis. I had no reaction whatsoever and in fact I think it has helped to clear the dermatitis! My lesions seem to clear and heal more quickly. The rest of the skin on my face has calmed, is more even, has reduced blotchiness and is looking more radiant. A gorgeous product!

Purchased the retinol ALT and within a couple uses my skin is already becoming clearer! Highly recommend it to any sensitive skin girlies who are prone to breakouts. Love this line so much!

I bought my first bottle of this product about four months ago when I decided to stop using facial scrubs. My skin has been going through some changes due to peri menopause and I was finding areas on my cheeks were getting red, scaly and itchy.

This product is lovely. My skin is radiant, smooth and feels so good! It’s so gentle too. I’m about to purchase another bottle.

I was a little apprehensive the first time I tried the Alt resurfacing serum after months of a perioral dermatitis flare up. The soothing duo helped me get the inflammation under control but I was left with pigmentation and differences in texture. The Alt serum was very gentle and didn’t irritate my skin. After the first 2 weeks, using it twice a week, I was very pleased to notice brighter and more even skin tone. I’m looking forward to trying the Retinol RX.

I really wanted to love this product as I love the soothing moisturiser but unfortunately it was too harsh for my skin. I have weird skin though, and since coming off hormonal birth control my skin now reacts to azelaic acid. I only wish they made a version without the azelaic acid for super sensitive skin like mine.

Have been using the retinalt serum for two weeks. I have noticed a big difference recently, definitely reduced fine lines and glowing. This has been a life saver as I can’t use retinol on my skin while breastfeeding and find usual retinal creams aggrevate my skin.

I've never tried a retinol type serum and wanted to give it a try. I'm pregnant and this is perfect. After using for several months now I can definitely see results and will definitely be purchasing again! Super gentle yet effective.

I love how invigorating this serum feels on the skin! I’ve been slowly introducing into my routine over a month or so and it has made my skin feel so soft and refreshed. I have quite sensitive skin and sometimes actives can make my skin tingle a bit but this product is quite effective yet gentle as long as you slowly introduce into your routine! I can even layer with my current moisturiser without any pilling which is great 😊

The retinol alt has been a nice, gentle, fear-free addition to my skin care routine, with the foundation of the hydrating lotion and the life-saver soothing serum! I look forward to trying other products in this one-in-a-million line.

This is the best retinol I've ever used. It's so gentle on the skin and does not irritate my skin like other retinols I've tried in the past. The fine lines around my eye area has reduced significantly and my face feels much smoother. Loving this retinol ALT and can't wait to try the Retinol RX!

Meant to help with acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, texture & dull skin, I have tried about 30 different retinol treatment products over the past 10 years. I have been using amperna since September last year. After a flare up of PD from steroid nose spray due to allergies I tried amperna soothing duo after reading some amazing reviews. I cannot compliment this skincare range high enough. It cleared up my PD within the month and it has also given my face a smooth and glowing complexion. It has really given me my confidence back.
I have very sensitive skin and have also tried the pro+ bio resurfacing retinol and pro+ bio sunscreen both of which have not given my any reaction. This is the first retinol product I’ve ever been able to use without experiencing extreme skin irritation. I’ve been using Amperna products for almost a year now and I could not be happier. My skin had never been this consistently clear and bright, and I am a healthcare worker so I wear a mask for close to 40 hours/week. I am in the US where it is winter when usually my skin is constantly tight and dry, no matter how much moisturizer I use, but not with Amperna. My face hasn’t felt dry once! This stuff is amazing.

Amperna has helped me clear my perioral dermatitis and my skin has never looked healthier. I love these products so much and have recently added the Superadiance retinol alt and the Hydraprotect SPF15 to my routine and I'm loving them both! I've had lots of comments on my skin since using these products, particularly since using the retinol!

Since I have been PD free for more that 1 year now, I've decided it is time to start some wrinkle treatment. Retinoids are the best, but they can be very irritating to sensitive skin. Luckily, Amperna has launched new retinol products this year. One for beginners, one for experienced users. I am a retinol beginner and still scared of introducing anything new, so I chose the first one. I've been using Retinol ALT for 1 month now and I can say that there is no irritation, my skin looks glowy and I'm planning to keep using it and move to the stronger product once the bottle is empty.
